Two Upholstered Chairs, a Wool Rug, and a Carpeted Stairway in Bloomington
Three different materials came in for one Bloomington visit: two upholstered chairs, a wool rug, and the carpet on the stairs. Each needed its own method.
Chairs: test before cleaning
We check the cleaning code and test for color bleed on each chair before any solution goes on the fabric. Pre-treatment then goes on the arms and seat, where body oils collect.
Wool and stairs
Wool needs gentler chemistry and lower heat than synthetic carpet, so the rug was cleaned on its own settings. The stairs were cleaned tread by tread with a hand tool.
Working in Bloomington
Bloomington is an established neighborhood built around Bloomington Country Club. The Virgin River South Trail runs from Bloomington Park along the river down to Sun River, just a short walk from here.
Bloomington Park, where the river trail starts, is about a mile away, and Bloomington Petroglyph Park with its rock art is in the same neighborhood.
This was one of 15 upholstery cleaning jobs we have done in St. George since May 2025.
Most of our work is in St. George, from condos and townhomes to single-family homes on both sides of town. Red desert dust and hard water show up in almost every home here, so dust works into carpet and grout and minerals leave film on tile and showers.
