Carpet Restretching in Three Areas of a Dammeron Valley Home

The homeowner booked restretching for three separate areas, about 1,200 square feet in all, with cleaning once the carpet was tight again. It was one of the longer drives we made that winter, north of St. George up SR-18.

What the job called for

We power-stretch each area as its own job, because a loose room tells you nothing about the next one. Every space gets a check of the tack strip and backing before we pull tension.

Why we stretched before cleaning

Cleaning puts moisture into the carpet, and stretching damp carpet can leave it loose again once it dries. Doing the stretch first means the cleaning happens on carpet that is already flat and anchored.
