Carpet Pad Replacement and Restretch in Washington, UT

The pad under this Washington carpet was replaced, and the carpet was cleaned and a small area rug was done on the same trip. Pad replacement always ends with a restretch, so the two go together.

Why pad replacement means restretching

To swap the pad, the carpet has to come off the tack strip and roll back. When it goes back down it gets power-stretched and re-tacked, otherwise the new pad sits under carpet that is already loose.

Cleaning on the finished floor

Once the carpet was flat on the new pad, we cleaned it. The small rug was handled on site as a separate item.
